About
Hi, I’m Juliet Penrod — the founder of The NeuroSpicy Nook. I recently graduated with my MBA from Baldwin Wallace University, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where neurodivergent adults can feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
The NeuroSpicy Nook was born out of a simple observation: there are countless resources and support systems for children with ADHD and autism, but when it comes to adults navigating neurodivergence, the conversation is often missing. Many of us are left feeling overlooked, misunderstood, or like we’re “too old” to be struggling with these challenges. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

One of the groups most impacted by this gap is women. Research shows that women are severely underdiagnosed with ADHD and autism because the diagnostic criteria were largely built around cisgender white male experiences. This leaves women masking their symptoms, slipping through the cracks, or being misdiagnosed entirely.
At The NeuroSpicy Nook, I wanted to build more than just a shop — I wanted to build a community and resource hub for neurodivergent adults. Here, you’ll find tools, tips, and products designed to make daily life a little easier, a little calmer, and a lot more affirming. Whether it’s fidget tools for focus, journaling systems for organization, or shared stories from others in the community, this is meant to be a cozy corner of the internet where you belong.
Neurodivergence is not “just for kids.” It’s part of who we are throughout our lives — and it comes with unique strengths as well as challenges. My hope is that The NeuroSpicy Nook gives you a place to feel validated, supported, and inspired.
So grab a virtual cup of tea, explore, and know this: you are not alone here. ☕️
